Burning the koran
On the radio this morning there was quite a bit of talk about some pastor’s recent proclamation for the burning of the koran.
My response to this is, "Hey STUPID! How many muslim’s are going to be saved by burning the koran?" This is NOT where our efforts should be focused.
In case you are confused, God is not threatened, nor even intimidated by the koran. Burning this compilation of man’s words and the devil’s lies is of no consequence, because God already rendered it null and void 2000 years ago. Making the effort to obtain and then set fire to some symbol for a false religion gives credit where it should not be given, applying meaning and value to something that is senseless and worthless.
Read and understand:
The koran’s message: You must earn your salvation by the sacrifice of your own blood, paid for by the sacrifice of your own life, in order to obtain a superficial reward that the source of the koran’s words, the devil, has no authority to give you. This means that even if you fulfill all of the many requirements written in the koran, you are still doomed to spend eternity in hell.
God’s message: Your salvation is a gift through the sacrifice of His blood, bought and paid for in full by the sacrifice of His own life, so that you can receive the most valuable rewards of eternal life and adoption into the family of God, who is the only One with the ability to give life to anyone. And the only thing you have to do is accept the gift He has already offered freely to everyone.
Burn the koran? hell is already hot enough without making things hotter for the poor lost souls who have fallen into the muslim snare. Wouldn’t it be better to just show them the truth?
